Sprint Companion — terms of use and subscription
Version: live-2026-09-24 · 24 September 2026. These terms apply when you purchase a Sprint Companion subscription. A separate checkout clearly marked as a test does not create a paid subscription.
About HansenSprint
Sprint Companion is provided by HansenSprint, a Danish sole proprietorship, CVR 46631838, Ceresbyen 61, 2.3, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. Contact us at simon@hansensprint.com. Phone: +45 22 45 01 11.
Companion helps you plan training, record sessions and review your results. Its reports use the information you enter and the history available on your device. They are not medical advice, an injury diagnosis or confirmation that you are fit to train. We do not guarantee a particular performance improvement.
Who can use Companion
Companion is for athletes aged 16 or older. Keep your sign-in details private and use your own account. We ask for an age group rather than your date of birth.
Athletes aged 16–17 use a separately verified adult parent or legal guardian to arrange payment. The parent or guardian manages the subscription through the parent billing page. Paying for an athlete does not give the payer access to the athlete’s training records.
Contact us if your age group needs correcting or you turn 18 and need to change who manages payment.
Your free trial
Your 14-day trial starts when you first verify your athlete account. Companion shows its end date. No payment card is required and the trial does not automatically turn into a paid subscription.
A paid subscription starts only when an eligible purchaser chooses to subscribe and completes checkout. If you subscribe before your free trial ends, your first payment is taken immediately and your paid month starts at checkout. Remaining free-trial days are not added to the paid month. Signing in again does not restart the trial.
When access expires, your saved sessions remain available to view, download and delete. Starting new logs requires an active trial or paid access. You can finish a session log that was already started.
Monthly subscriptions
The monthly price is US$3.99, including applicable taxes. Checkout shows the amount due and billing frequency before you pay. HansenSprint is the seller; Stripe handles checkout and payment processing. Payments are in US dollars; your card provider may apply its own currency conversion or fees.
Before payment, you review these terms and expressly request that paid access starts immediately, including during the withdrawal period. Your paid subscription is confirmed when checkout succeeds and payment is confirmed. We email the purchaser a confirmation with a copy of the terms accepted at checkout. Starting immediately does not by itself remove your withdrawal rights.
Your first payment is US$3.99 for one month. There is no joining fee or minimum commitment beyond the month you purchase. Your subscription continues for an indefinite period and renews monthly until cancelled. If payment fails, new logging may become unavailable when your confirmed paid access ends. Your saved sessions are not deleted because a payment fails. Check your access status in Settings and contact us if a payment and your access do not match.
Cancelling your subscription
Use Manage subscription in Settings to cancel future renewals before the next renewal shown in your billing page. If a parent or guardian pays, they use the parent billing page.
There is no cancellation fee. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and no further renewal is scheduled. Ordinary cancellation does not automatically refund the current paid period.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to a faulty service or any applicable statutory withdrawal right.
Withdrawal and consumer rights
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals. Withdrawal is a separate right to end a recently entered agreement where consumer law provides it. It does not renew every month just because a recurring payment is taken.
For consumers covered by the Danish distance-contract rules, the usual withdrawal period for a service is 14 days from entering the agreement. The deadline can be extended where required information has not been provided. Exercising the right does not require giving a reason.
You can send a clear withdrawal notice to simon@hansensprint.com or to our postal address above. Include your name, account email and the agreement you are withdrawing from. Sending notice before the deadline is sufficient. You do not have to use particular wording or cancel renewal first to send us a notice.
Use Withdraw from agreement at the bottom of Settings → Subscription details during the withdrawal period. A parent or guardian uses the corresponding option on the parent billing page. You do not need to cancel renewal first. The form records your notice and sends an email acknowledgement. An acknowledgement confirms receipt, not the outcome of any repayment assessment. We handle the legal effect of your notice and any payment adjustment separately; submitting the form does not automatically issue a refund.
Any termination and repayment legally due will be handled under the applicable rules. Where those rules require repayment, it is made without undue delay and within the applicable deadline, normally 14 days from your notice, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed without a fee. A lawful charge for service already supplied requires the necessary information and an express request to start early; payment or general acceptance of terms alone does not waive withdrawal rights. Any amount lawfully due for service supplied before your notice must be proportionate to what was supplied, based on the agreed price. We assess this individually and do not apply an automatic deduction through the form.
You may use this optional notice: “To HansenSprint, Ceresbyen 61, 2.3, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark, simon@hansensprint.com. I give notice that I withdraw from my Sprint Companion subscription agreement. Agreement date: __. Account email: __. Name: __. Address: __. Date: __. Signature (only if sent on paper): __.”
Using the service
Companion is a browser application. It needs JavaScript and browser storage. Signing in, checking access and managing payment require an internet connection. Some training features can work offline after the application has loaded; offline access is not a guarantee that every page or device will work without a connection.
Keep your browser updated. If your device cannot use a feature, contact us before subscribing. We will not describe an untested device as supported. Download a backup before changing device, browser or website address.
We will explain material changes affecting an ongoing paid service and any available cancellation or other rights. A price change will not be applied retrospectively to a paid period. Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
Your records and backups
Training records are stored in the browser on the device where you enter them. Signing in on another device does not automatically transfer your training history. Use Download backup in Settings and keep a copy somewhere safe.
Clearing browser data, losing a device, using a different browser or moving to a different site address can affect access to local records. Downloaded PDFs and backups remain wherever you save or share them; deleting a record in Companion does not delete those copies.
Deleting your online account is different from cancelling renewal or clearing training data. Account deletion stops linked subscriptions immediately and does not automatically issue a refund. It does not clear local training records. Download a backup before deleting an athlete account: records tied to that account are not automatically assigned to a new one.
Deleting a parent’s account does not delete the athlete’s account or training history. It does stop subscriptions funded through that parent account.
Problems and support
If something goes wrong, contact simon@hansensprint.com. Please describe the problem without including payment-card details, sign-in codes or unnecessary health information.
You retain the statutory remedies for defects in a digital service, including correction and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination. Contact us promptly if the service is faulty. We will handle complaints and service defects in accordance with applicable consumer law. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
